Pond is currently seeking a Project Architect to join our Architecture Group, located in our Columbia, South Carolina office. We are always looking for intellectually savvy and responsive people to complement our award-winning, growth-oriented firm. Qualified individuals who have their SC registration or NCARB certification should apply. In addition, they will have 10-15 years of experience in an A/E focused consulting environment. Experience in the design of Higher Education and Municipal/State/Federal Government facilities is desired. Applicants should have strong design and technical knowledge of construction document execution. Successful employees at Pond share a team based operating philosophy and will have experience both leading and working with multiple disciplines assigned to a project.
10-15 years related experience in Architectural practice, with a focus on Higher Education, government and commercial clients. Licensed Architects preferred. This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, verbal and written communication skills, ability to work and lead team members, and strong presentation skills. High skill level in Revit/BIM, AutoCAD, Sketchup and Photoshop is required for this position.
Additional Experience Requirements
- Professional Degree in Architecture (Bachelors or Masters).
- LEED AP, or experience in LEED-based design, a plus.
- Architecture license (South Carolina preferred), NCARB
- MS Office, NewForma, Deltek vision.
