DESCRIPTION:MSHP Brown Bag Lunch Series-Professional Practice: Alumni Panel Discussion\nOverview \n\n\n\n\nWe’ll be hearing from MSHP alumni about their professional practice in preservation and their career paths since being in the program.\n\n\n\nChloe Martin\, MSHP \nProject Preservationist – George Washington’s Mount Vernon \nChloe graduated with her MSHP in May 2024\, having previously received a BA in Historic Preservation from the University of Mary Washington. During her academic career\, Chloe worked many part-time or seasonal preservation jobs with companies such as Colonial Williamsburg\, Richard Marks Restorations\, and Historic Charleston Foundation. Upon graduation\, Chloe moved to Alexandria\, Virginia where she began her current position as Project Preservationist for the Mansion Revitalization project at George Washington’s Mount Vernon. \nJustin Schwebler\, MSHP \nSenior Scientist of Cultural Resource Management – Terracon Consultants\, Inc. \nJustin Schwebler is a Senior Scientist of Cultural Resource Management for Terracon\, in Charleston\, SC. Justin holds a bachelor’s degree in history from Northern Kentucky University (2012) as well as a Master of Science in Historic Preservation from Clemson University (2015). His thesis research explored the history of the use and importation of Bermuda limestone to Charleston\, SC. He has worked as a historic preservation specialist for Clemson University’s Warren Lasch Conservation Center\, and as Properties and Preservation Manager for Historic Charleston Foundation\, before joining Terracon in 2025. He and his wife Laura Lee Worrell (also an MSHP grad) love to torment their two small children by visiting as many historic sites as possible on family trips. They have two dogs\, George (unofficial MSHP alum) and Gryffin. \nEmma Grace Sprinkle\, MSHP \nArchitectural Historian\, AECOM \nA native of North Carolina\, Emma Grace Sprinkle is an architectural historian at AECOM in Raleigh\, NC. She attended Wake Forest University\, where she earned her degree in anthropology and minored in cultural heritage and preservation studies. After graduation and working for a year\, the Richard Hampton Jenrette Foundation awarded her a fellowship to attend the Clemson University and College of Charleston’s joint Master of Science in Historic Preservation program.
