Tyler A. Smyth Architects, located on the Charleston peninsula, is seeking an experienced Project Architect as a creative team member in our practice.
We are interested in applicants with 3-10 years of experience as a full time position. Licensure is not a requirement. We specialize in custom residential design, residential renovations/additions, as well as restorations of historic buildings in downtown Charleston, SC. We also execute some commercial projects on and off the peninsula, We offer a high level of client service and believe that the site supplies the genesis for the unique architectural solutions.
We offer an opportunity for professional growth and development with direct exposure to all aspects of project development, design, and project management, including negotiating municipal approval processes. A candidate would work collaboratively with principal architect and will have the opportunity to develop entire projects. Flexibility, resourcefulness, and good communication skills are critical. Substantial experience using Revit in a professional architectural practice is required.
