MARKALUNAS ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN, LLC a residential architecture and interior design studio located in Greenville, SC seeks a creative, detail oriented, dedicated, idealistic, and accomplished Project Architect with experience in and passion for exceptional residential design. This position will entail multiple aspects associated with the execution of detailed home designs and is best suited for those desiring to create inspiring work.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop design concepts thru construction documents
- Develop presentation materials and standards
- Produce detailed documents for client review, and for design review board submission at various stages of the design process
- Coordinate associated documentation with interior design details and specifications
- Design and produce detailed, complete, and coordinated construction documents
CLIENT AND PROJECT COLLABORATION:
- Exceptional communication and follow-up
- Focused attention to projects and ability to work in multiple roles on each home design while coordinating those efforts with the client and other members of the project team.
PROJECT MANAGMENT:
- Establish schedules and deliverables associated with each stage of the project
- Coordinate efforts with the various team members working on the project (including consultants, contractors, interior design team, and various suppliers).
- Assist in varying degrees with the support of the project during construction (including responding to contractors, communicating with the client, overseeing project progress on site)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- Degree in architecture, or a related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in residential design and project fulfillment
- Licensure or track to licensure is welcomed
- Competency and thorough understanding of ACAD software in a residential architecture setting
- A firm grasp of residential construction means, methods, and materials
- Proficiency with applicable rendering software
- Visualization, hand drawing, and sketching ability is appreciated
- Positive attitude, reliable, detail oriented, focused, diligent, and collaborative.
