Course Description:

This continuing education course provides an overview of thin brick, a lightweight veneer product that delivers the aesthetic of tradtional brick in a thinner, more versatile format. Participants will learn how thin brick is manufactured, explore its advantages and limitations, and review proper installation methods including thick-set, thin-set, modular panel systems, and prefabricated concrete panels. The course will also cover best practices for incorporating thin brick into new and existing construction, with a focus on flashing, weeps, mortar methods, and appropriate applications to ensure long-term performance.
