Participants will work alongside the regional nonprofit MountainTrue to remove debris and pollutants from riparian zones while learning how watershed health, ecological restoration, and site stewardship contribute to community resilience. Through guided discussion during the cleanup, participants will explore how riparian systems support water quality, reduce erosion, mitigate flooding risks, and protect adjacent built environments.
