Tuesday May 13, 2025, 12-1 PM
Presented by Resolute Elevator, LLC
Course Description:
Modular Elevator Systems, a practical alternative to conventional site-built elevators, are highly suitable for both new and retrofit projects. This one-hour course will equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the modular elevator system’s application in low-to-mid-rise buildings. By the end of the course, participants will have a clear grasp of the system’s structural and design components, manufacturing process, project costs, and schedule impacts, and, most importantly, its inherent safety features.
Learning Objectives:
- What is a modular elevator, and what components are utilized in the modular elevator system, including types of equipment, means of conveyance, and the modular shaft?
- Difference between non-proprietary and proprietary equipment.
- Design Coordination and ease of incorporating a modular elevator into a project.
- Advantages of modular vs. conventional elevator construction.
