Murphy Ave Restorative Justice Hub

Task

The Murphy Ave Restorative Justice Center proposes a minimal security, alternative placement rehabilitation model for sentenced male juveniles aged 11-18. The design envisions a neighborhood-based “Justice Hub” where social, educational, treatment and civic services are together under one roof rather than separated while housing the youths closer to their families and community. The 20-acre formerly industrial site has direct access to The Beltline and MARTA transit line, providing direct connectivity for users to the greater metropolitan area.
