The Dream Center
Task
Calhoun Falls, once called The City of Opportunity, has seen population decline and economic stagnation. LaSean Tutt, founder of “Dreams with Open Arms,” envisions transforming a dilapidated downtown building into a community center focused on entrepreneurship, youth empowerment, and professional development. As architects, we believe in community-driven design and involving residents in the process. Tutt collaborated with the architect and Clemson School of Architecture to engage the community through events like “Rock the Block.” The idea of a community center sparked enthusiasm and momentum, showing how small changes can unite people and ignite positive transformation.
