Task

As a nonprofit facilitating organ and tissue donation, We Are Sharing Hope SC (WASH) brings donor families, recipients, and the community together. This critical task involves education, advocacy, relationship building, and counseling; SHSC needed a building that would support its lifesaving and emotional work. The marshland site encouraged the design team to build authentic connections between the program and the natural environment, maximizing the landscape as a place for memory and reflection while framing views from the interior.
